Many people that are reported to chexsystems are unable to open an account. Some banks have second chance checking that they do offer to those reported to chexsystems or those that have credit issues and problems. My local lists do show second chance accounts that are available. Options do depend on where you live. There are also some banks and credit unions that do not use chexsystems at all. I have found these banks and credit unions and have compiled them in a list.
